I have an exercise for you today that has already helped so many to clarify and shatter their limiting beliefs and create lasting change. I am giving this to you today because I am seeing some incredible results in my own life by using this and I want you to have a tool that you can use forever!
Also, this can be used in any area of your life…..how awesome is that?
Ready to move forward? Let’s do it!
First, imagine what your life would be like if you had ZERO obstacles in the way – in every area of your life. Imagine what it would feel like to glide through life with very little resistance while the universe is working things out for you in your favor.
Feels pretty good, don’t you think? Let’s move to the first step.
Step 1: Describe a current situation that you would like to see changed, shift your perspective to witnessing it from the outside.
Don’t try to do this perfectly. Remember, you are an observer and need to detach from your emotions and how you may be feeling about what you are experiencing.
Explore your situation like you are looking in from the outside: money, business, health, body, mindset, event a difficult relationship that you may be dealing with. Nothing is off limits!
Your description might look something like this: “I see someone who is strong and trying to do the right things but inside I see she is afraid of what’s next in her life. I see someone who wants to make a leap into something new and exciting but she’s afraid that it may not work out. I see that she is pretending that everything is great, but she is not feeling strong on the inside. She is looking for support and clarity.”
Step 2: Evaluate your statement about your experience and see where you may be limiting yourself.
You can only identify the limiting beliefs if you’re totally honest with yourself. You can be free of them and move on, but first comes the realization of the limiting beliefs. Where are the obstacles in your statement? Are they true? How do you know they are really true? Question the obstacles in front of you and realize they are nothing more than limiting beliefs.
Here are some examples from this statement:
- She fears failure that things may not work out as she hoped.
- She believes that if she pretends that things are ok, it will change.
Step 3: Our lives reflect what we think we are, not what we desire.
This step is really BIG. Listen up, if you are running your own business but you haven’t booked any clients or made any sales yet, ask yourself honestly what beliefs you are harboring about yourself.
If you think of yourself automatically as “someone who’s uncomfortable with money” or “not great with money”, “always just making ends meet”, or that you “have to work hard to get the results that you desire” etc. then it’s no wonder you haven’t been able to manifest what you truly want.
Here is the thing: If your inner beliefs are opposing what you SAY you would like to manifest, you are swimming upstream! Let’s flip the switch.
Step 4: Change your ‘desires’ to what is a MUST and a non-negotiable for you.
When you have a must and it becomes non-negotiable for you, everything changes. Everything. Because when you become absolutely certain, there is no room for anything else.
It really is that simple.
What you need to know is that you REALLY ARE that powerful. Your mind can change everything in a short period of time. It’s what we call a quantum leap.
You may ‘want’ to earn money in your business so you can have more freedom, leave your 9-5, and travel more. That’s fantastic, but until it’s a ‘must’ it’s not happening.
Change your ‘wants’ and ‘shoulds’ to become non-negotiable in your life and business and get ready for miracles.
